Retirement Opens Doors For Civic Pursuits

LINDEN—Former Linden Councilman James Moore received a warm send off from state Parole Board Chair Yolette C. Ross, one of only four African-American women in the nation to oversee a state parole board.  Ross joined a host of other top law enforcement officials in wishing Moore good fortune in his retirement. Now that he’s got time on his hands, Moore says he will be seeking the Democratic nomination for City Council President.
