Rahway Students Honor Local Baseball Legend
RAHWAY – A fifth grade class at Grover Cleveland School in Rahway recently honored the accomplishments of Monte Irvin, a baseball player in the Negro Leagues and a Major League Baseball Hall of Fame inductee at the school’s annual Black History Gallery Walk.
