Union County College To Host Open House For Summer 2010 College For Kids And College For Teens Programs

CRANFORD—On Saturday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to noon, Union County College Division of Economic Development and Continuing Education will be hosting an open house for kids, teenagers and parents interested in learning more about the Summer 2010 College for Kids and College for Teens programs.

The open house is a chance to meet the instructors, learn about the courses offered and register for an amusing experience. On that day kids and teens will enjoy some fun, challenging activities as well.

The College for Kids and Teens Programs will be offered on Cranford campus during summer 2010, open to youth from 5 to 18 years old. Courses that are new this summer include: “Passion for Fashion”, “Critter Creations”, “Yoga for You”, “Mystery Book Club”, “Weird Science”, “Cool Math Games”, “Advanced Juggling”, “Camp Rock Star!”, “College Bound 101”, “ServSafe for Teens”, “Lego Loco”, and “Building Big Bridges”.

Registrations for sports programs received on or before April 30 are $195 and those received after April 30 are $ 205. Other pricing varies, depending on the course offered and its duration. As well, the UCC offers before and after care for each child for an additional fee.
