April Children’s Programs At Union Library (Updated)

UNION—The Children’s Department of the Union Public Library has scheduled the following programs at the Main Library during the month of April:

Toddler Time, for children 2 ½ – 3 ½ and their caregivers will be held on Thursdays, April 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th at 10:30am.  No registration required.

Come in your pajamas for songs, stories and games at the  Bedtime Storytime to be held on Mondays, April 5th and 26th at 7:00pm.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome to attend.  No registration required. P rogram cancelled due to scheduling conflict.

Mother Goose Time, for children 1 ½ – 2 ½ and their caregivers, will be held on Tuesdays, April 6th, 20th and 27th at 10:30am.  No registration required.

Preschool Storytime for children 3 ½ through Kindergarten will be held on Wednesdays, April 7th, 21st and 28th at 10:30am.  No registration required. P rogram cancelled due to scheduling conflict.

A “Trains” Storytime and Craft Program will be held on Saturday, April 10th at 11:00am.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome to attend.  No registration required.

A “Spot the Dog” Book Party will be held on Monday, April 12th at 11:00am.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to attend.  No registration required

Do you like Magic?  Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Glenn Rosivack of Union, will perform his special magic show at the Main Library on Tuesday, April 13th at 11:00am.  This program is for children of all ages and their caregivers.  No registration required.

An “Edible Food” Program will be presented on Wednesday, April 14th at 11:00am.  This program is for children of all ages and their caregivers.  No registration required. P rogram cancelled due to scheduling conflict.

A Scavenger Hunt will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 11:00am.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to attend.  No registration required.

Tara Hoisington, Director of Inspired Sprouts of Springfield will perform her “Music Together, Music and Movement” program on Friday, April 16th at 11:00am.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome to attend.  No registration required.

Celebrate National Frog Day at the Frog Day Storytime and Craft Program to be held on Monday, April 19th at 7:00pm.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome to attend. No registration required. P rogram cancelled due to scheduling conflict.

The Saturday Storytime and Craft Program will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 11:00am. Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to attend.  No registration required.

The Children’s Department of the Union Public Library has scheduled the following programs at the Vauxhall Branch during the month April:

A Spring Program for preschoolers and their caregivers will be held on Tuesday, April 6th at 11:30am.  Space is limited.  Signup is required

Bored? Nothing to do? Come out for Game Day at the Library on Monday, April 12th at 2:00pm.  Play with the library’s games or bring one of your own.  Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to attend.  No registration required.

Come out for the Spring Break Movie Presentation of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”, on Tuesday, April 13th at 2:00pm.  All are welcome to attend.  No registration required.

A T-Shirt Decorating Workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 14th at 11:00am.  CHILDREN MUST BRING THEIR OWN T-SHIRTS.  This program is for children of all ages and their caregivers.  Space is limited.  Signup is required.

A “Crazy Craft” Program for students in grades 3 through 8 will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 1:30pm.  Space is limited.  Signup is required.

An After School Movie Presentation of “Where the Wild Things Are”, will be held on Thursday, April 22nd at 3:15pm.  All are welcome to attend.  No registration required.
