RAHWAY—Students at Franklin School in Rahway recently held their annual Third Grade Black History Month PowerPoint Museum. Parents and faculty were invited to attend a virtual electronic museum hosted in the school’s computer lab.

Participants were greeted with a scavenger hunt with clues about influential African-Americans, and had to visit each child’s computer in search of the individual that went with the clue. Through the creation of their presentations, students learned how to do research, create a slideshow and present their slideshow to an audience.
