ISELIN – Students at Kennedy Park School in Iselin raised $1,100 for the Red Cross Haiti earthquake relief efforts through a “Hearts for Haiti” program. Students designed paper hearts and donated $1 to display them in the school’s main hallway. During the winter holidays, the school’s student council also organized a candy-gram sale to raise money for Heifer International, a charity that teaches rural villagers how to raise farm animals to sustain their families.
