EDISON—Kindergarteners to fifth graders at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison marked the birthday of Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geissel) by reading excerpts from the children’s author’s most notable works such as “The Cat in the Hat” and “One Fish Two Fish.” The celebration, which was organized by JoAnn Burg of Califon, Lower School librarian, took place during lunch where a birthday cake was also served by members of the cafeteria staff wearing whimsical striped “Cat in the Hat” hats.
