Clark Ranks As One Of The Best Places To Live In NJ

CLARK — You could search all over New Jersey, but there aren’t many better places to live than Clark.

That’s the finding of researchers at Monmouth University’s Polling Institute who compiled New Jersey Monthly’s 2010 Top Towns list.

Clark ranked near the top, placing 24th out of New Jersey’s 566 municipalities.

The report rated municipalities for population growth, home values, property taxes, land development, employment, crime rate, school performance, and proximity to services.

Clark has steadily improved, ranking 40th in 2006 and 33rd in 2008.

“It’s a great recognition for a great community,” Mayor Sal Bonaccorso said. “It was great to be in the top 100, but it’s even better to be in the top 25.”
