EDISON—Lower School students at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison put their artistic skills to the test, as well as their motivation to “go green” recently when they crafted dollhouses, mailboxes, board games, vases, and other projects from recycled materials.

The students received certificates after explaining their projects to their peers during Lower School Lunch on Feb. 18. Pictured above are some of the recipients: Ricardo Garces of North Brunswick, Lillian Helander of Westfield, Alexandra Vargas of Dunellen, Jake Payami of Scotch Plains, and Stan DeLaurentiis of Plainfield.
