ELIZABETH—Students and teachers at the Joseph Battin School No. 4 in Elizabeth are now enjoying video and high-speed Internet access provided for free by Cablevision’s Power to Learn education initiative.

“Power to Learn has wired thousands of schools and libraries across our service area with the same award-winning products we deliver to residential and business customers over our fiber optic network, and we are very pleased to now be providing free digital television and Internet access to Joseph Battin School No. 4,” said Trent Anderson, Cablevision’s vice president of education.

Power to Learn empowers learning in a digital world by providing schools/libraries with free access to Cablevision’s technology, working together with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum, offering parents resources to assist their children with learning, and providing teachers with free online resources at the Power to Learn website,
