RAHWAY—On Feb. 17, the fourth grade gifted and talented students from Roosevelt School attended the Union County Mental Marathon, held at the Rahway Rec Center. Students from Elizabeth, Cranford, Rahway, and Roselle attended.

The opening “ice breaker” activity was the creation of team names and logos, which students drew on white foam visors they wore throughout the day. The students rotated through four stations: Analogies, Logic, Research, and Tangrams. Prizes were awarded to the top three teams.
