LINDEN—Family Math Night is a way for parents and children to talk and work together while learning. It also provides a time and place where communication can take place between teachers and the family.
Parents had the opportunity to speak with teachers about how math is being taught. They were also able to work on math activities with their children, and to share in their children’s learning, and play a variety of games used in class to help develop math concepts. A “thanks-for-attending” gift with a copy of all the games played and the necessary materials was given to all the students.
