Recalled Toyota Vehicles Jeopardize Everyone’s Safety

Nearly three weeks ago Toyota announced the recall of about two million cars. Since then they have recalled thousands of Acuras. Now the newest edition the Prius is being recalled in large quantities. During this time all of the vehicles have been permitted to remain on the highways and Toyota is now beginning to repair some of the cars.

What is wrong with this picture? American motorists are at risk of being killed by these vehicles with faulty accelerator pedals. They continue to accelerate after the driver removes his foot from the pedal. Every one on the road with these two million cars is at risk of losing their lives because of Toyota’s disregard for the safety of all of us.

NO ONE has spoken up about this insane disregard for our lives. Where is the anger of the faithful buyers of American vehicles? Why hasn’t the Obama administration expressed its concern about the faulty vehicles manufactured by a foreign power? Where is consumer affairs? Where is the concern of government departments that bought these problem cars? They have our people using them across the country.

GET THEM OFF THE ROAD NOW! THE DEATH OF ONE AMERICAN DUE TO THIS INSANE NEGLECT IS TOO GREAT OF A PRICE TO PAY. Make Toyota pay for rentals or whatever they have to do to protect those of us smart enough not to have bought their trouble in the first place.
