SOUTH AMBOY—The Provident Bank’s Deposit $1 of Hope fundraising drive will continue through Feb. 23. In an effort to raise funds for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Provident is hosting the drive at each of its more than 80 branches throughout New Jersey.
“The Community FoodBank of New Jersey needs our help,” said Jean Quinn, Provident vice president of corporate communications. “In this economy, more people need assistance to put food on the table and we want to make sure they get it.”
To make a donation towards CFBNJ, stop by any Provident branch. “The food bank can stretch our dollars further than we can,” said Quinn. “Every dollar contributed to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey allows them to distribute $8 to $11 worth of food and groceries to local food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, daycare centers, homeless shelters and residential programs.”
