RAHWAY—Fourth grade student Natalia Pavon in Raquel Cardet’s class at Franklin School recently broke a school record for earning the most Accelerated Reader points. Accelerated Reader is an incentive program that encourages students to read by allowing them to take tests on books. With each test passed, students earn points and in turn earn prizes. Having earned over 400 points, Pavon earned an Accelerated Reader t-shirt. Photo courtesy of Franklin School
