LINDEN—As part of Catholic School Week activities, the students of Sts. Mary’s and Elizabeth Academy in Linden created Valentine cards for the men and women residing at the Menlo Park Veteran’s Home.

The students sent their love and appreciation to each of the 300 residents by making a special teddy bear card.

Student Council President Dawn Gergich said, “Many men and women have given their lives and limbs so that we may live in freedom. It is important, that on Valentine’s Day, we take a moment to say, ‘Thank You’ and ‘We Love You,’ not only to our family and friends but also to those who gave so much.”
