Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. – In the vicinity of Stiles Street in Linden, Officer Antonio Manata arrested Linden resident Kenneth Byrd, 42, on an outstanding warrant from the Union County Sheriff’s Department.  He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Feb. 2 at 2:29 a.m. – Officer Daniel Joy investigated a report of criminal mischief at 1207 Raritan Road.

Feb. 3 at 10:30 a.m. – At headquarters, Sgt. John Doherty arrested Dover, Del. resident Robert Frey, 32, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.  He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Feb. 4 at 9:58 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Richard Street, Sgt. Pete Matos arrested Rahway resident Francoise Chanoine, 31, on outstanding warrants from Elizabeth, Florham Park, Linden, Orange, Piscataway, Plainfield, South Plainfield and Springfield for contempt of court.  She was also charged with hindering apprehension.

Feb. 5 at 2:43 a.m. – In the vicinity of 1300 Raritan Road, Officer Chris Lott arrested Cranford resident Christopher Poirier, 27, for DWI.  He was also issued several summonses for motor vehicle violations, and he was subsequently released pending a court date.

Feb. 5 at 8:35 a.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Limoli Lane residence.

Feb. 5 at 8:57 p.m. – Officer Andy Wagner investigated a report of a burglary to a Stonehenge Terrace residence.

Feb. 6 at 12:51 a.m. – In the vicinity of Madison Hill Road and Melvyn Court, Officer Chris Lott arrested Rahway resident Dionisio Luna, 25, on outstanding warrants for contempt of court.  He was also issued several summonses for motor vehicle violations, and he was subsequently released after posting bail.

Feb. 7 at 11:52 p.m. – In the vicinity of 226 Westfield Avenue, Officer George Marmarou arrested Oxford, Pa. resident Gary Foster, 48, on outstanding warrants from Bordentown and Woodbridge for contempt of court.  He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Feb. 8 at 12:31 a.m. – In the vicinity of 84 Post Circle, Officer Andy Wagner arrested Colonia resident Stephen Pirillo, 34, for obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Feb. 8 at 11:44 a.m. – Officer Keith Meehan investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at 34 Deerwood Drive.

Feb. 8 at 12:54 p.m.
– Following a routine motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of Broadway, Officer Antonio Manata arrested Newark resident Tiffany Williams, 23, on an outstanding from Newark for contempt of court. Also arrested was Irvington resident Mark Brunson, 20, on outstanding warrants from Newark and Passaic.  Both parties were subsequently released after posting bail.
