EDISON – Tickets are on sale for the 13th annual Taste of Middlesex. More than 40 vendors will provide food and beverages for you to sample between 5:30 and 8 p.m. at the Pines Manor on Monday, March 22.
Over 35 restaurants, caterers and food suppliers from the Central New Jersey area will be serving samples of their chef’s culinary skills. Wine, beer and spirit distributors will give away samples to test your taste buds.
The Master of Ceremony is Roxanne Evans, anchorwoman for News 12 New Jersey. Edison Fire and Police will be engaged in a cook off. The Room 4 Four Jazz band will play while guests eat and drink. There will be lots of door prizes and attendees can bring non-perishable food donations for a local shelter. The Edison CARES, a non-profit, charitable organization, will conduct a 50/50 to benefit Edison families.
The ticket prices are: $45, $35 for senior over 65, $50 at the door, and $45 for a reserved pre-paid table of 10+. Twenty-five food and beverage vendors have already committed; 15 tables remain.
