Rahway Native Nominated For Grammy Award

RAHWAY – Rahway native Eric Roberson was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. The nomination was for the R&B singer’s track “A Tale of Two,” featuring Ben O’Neill and Michelle Thompson, from his latest album, “Music Fan First.”

India.Arie & Dobet Gnahore’s “Pearls,” from the album “Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics” took home the prize on Sunday night. Other nominees in the category included The Foreign Exchange, Robert Glasper & Bilal, and Tonex.

Roberson grew up in Rahway and graduated from high school in 1991. He studied music at Howard University.
