EDISON—Sara Alkalili of Plainfield, a junior at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, designed a “Help Haiti Together” logo for a t-shirt to be sold to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The logo features two hands clasping a heart with the colors of the Haitian flag.
The proceeds from the t-shirt sale will be sent to Direct Relief International (www.directrelief.org), and the shirts will be sold during The Wardlaw-Hartridge School’s “Hope for Haiti” Flea Market on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 to 4 p.m. and to Upper Schoolers prior to the event.
For more information about the “Hope for Haiti Flea Market,” which is open to the public, call 1-908-754-1882.
