STATE—Nancy Jackson (left), newly elected president of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Auxiliary to the hospital’s Board of Trustees, stands alongside past president Gail Sloan as they receive a resolution adopted by the hospital’s board recognizing a centennial of volunteerism and service to the hospital’s young patients with special needs.
As well, this honor celebrates the Auxiliary being named, “Outstanding Community Organization of the Year” in 2009, by The Association of Fundraising Professionals New Jersey Chapter.
Since its inception in 1909, the Auxiliary has been committed to assisting with fundraising and volunteering at Children’s Specialized Hospital, contributing more than one million dollars to children with special needs. To learn more about the auxiliary, or become a member, call 1-908-301-5479.
