Children’s Charity To Accept Donations For Haitian Relief Efforts

CARTERET—Mayor Dan Reiman has announced that the Children’s Charity Trust Fund will be accepting monetary donations to assist with relief efforts in Haiti, where a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince, killing at least 50,000 and affecting approximately 3 million others.

According to the mayor, 100 percent of the proceeds generated through donations will be given to the Red Cross and/or U.S. Aid to help families left homeless in the wake of the disaster.
