LINDEN – Morning Star Community Christian Center in Linden is gearing up to do its part to help the families in need who were affected by the recent tragedy in Haiti.
Tonight at 7 p.m., at Morning Star, 1009 Chandler Avenue in Linden, there will be a meeting of the congregation and community regarding:
- the latest developments in Haiti
- how to be helpful in an ongoing way; and
- plans for a prayer vigil
“A significant number of Morning Star members are of Haitian descent and have large numbers of immediate and extended family that live in the affected area and we must do our part to help”, said Dr. Therman Evans. “We hope people in the community will step up to help us in this coordinated effort.”
