Court Offers Divorce Procedure Workshop

NEW BRUNSWICK – The Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage will present a divorce procedures workshop on Monday, Jan. 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Courthouse, first floor, 120 New Street, New Brunswick.

The workshop will provide participants with information on the divorce complaint process, litigants’ rights, courtroom procedures, the process for filing requests for child support and alimony, the process for filing motions and the Custody and Economic Mediation Program.

Panelists for the workshop include Superior Court Family Presiding Judge Deborah J. Venezia; Chris Pusarik of the Middlesex family division’s Custody and Economic Mediation Program; Charlene Cumberbatch of the child support unit; Luis Hernandez of the family division matrimonial unit; Court Librarian Betty Agin, Ombudsman Sylvia O’Connor, Russ Gale of New Jersey Legal Services and matrimonial attorney Ellen Schwartz.
