Saying “NO” To Drugs

Monday, January 11, 2010

CLARK– In honor of Red Ribbon Week, fifth grade students at F.K. Hehnly School in Clark were given the opportunity to teach a drug awareness lesson to their fellow students.

They were provided with a short script about the importance of making safe and healthy choices and living a drug-free life and read them aloud to the students. The fifth graders concluded each class by having the students sign a Red Ribbon Pledge Certificate and raise their right hands and repeat the “Drug-Free Pledge”.
