“Saving money is just part of the benefit of good nutrition,” said Dr. Karen Ensle, a nutrition expert and head of the Union County Extension who will conduct the class. “Good nutrition is a key tool for managing weight, and it provides an energy boost for general well-being.”

Dr. Ensle will show participants how to cook with inexpensive, highly nutritious ingredients instead of expensive processed foods.  The class includes meal planning, cutting down on kitchen waste, and shopping for good deals in the supermarket.
