Mignoli Honored As ALJ’s December Student Of The Month

CLARK – Senior Joseph Mignoli is Arthur L. Johnson High School’s student of the month for December.

Mignoli is a member of the National Honor Society and was selected as an AP Scholar with Honors. He is also a member of the Italian National Honor Society and has won the Outstanding Italian Achievement Award each of the past four years.

Mignoli has earned a number of honors as a member of the Speech and Debate Team and is currently the team captain. He has also appeared in a number of theatre productions and ALJ and is a member of the Drama Club.

A founder of the Television Club at ALJ, Mignoli is currently club president and director of the ALJ Morning Show. He is a staff writer for the school newspaper, The Crusader, and is also a Peer Leader.

Mignoli is the president of DECA, the school’s business and marketing club, and has won honors in various competitions. He is also a four-year varsity letter winner on the tennis team and has earned All-Conference Honors First Doubles.

As a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Mignoli has reached the rank of Eagle Scout with a Bronze Eagle Palm. He is currently the assistant senior patrol leader of Troop 145 and he has participated in a number of community service projects to refurbish township landmarks.

Outside of school, Mignoli is employed at Hoboken Beer and Soda Outlet as a cashier. He plans to study economics and finance in college. Joe is the son of Tery and Joseph Mignoli.
