RAHWAY—On Dec. 7, Rahway Middle School held its bi-annual Family Math and Science Night. This event, attended by parents and students, allowed families to work together employing both math and science skills. Family members served as CSI detectives, utilizing forensic tests to solve the mysterious robbery of the missing cookie recipe.
Together, families completed activities including the use of acid-base chemistry, chromatography, blood typing, and fingerprint analysis to identify the thief. Picture are Ms. Highsmith and sixth grader Emily Beenders.
