BB Gun Causes Linden School Lockdown

LINDEN – Linden High School was locked down for about an hour Monday morning because school officials received a report about a possible weapon on campus, authorities said. The Linden Police Department was notified and sent officers to the school.

School security found a BB handgun in a locker, according to authorities. Police took a 16-year old student into custody.

No one was injured and the incident remained under investigation by the Linden police department’s juvenile bureau Monday afternoon.
