EDISON – Township officials will light Edison’s 20-foot live blue spruce Christmas tree on Tuesday, Dec. 8. The celebration will begin at 7 p.m. in front of the Heritage at Clara Barton, Amboy Avenue and 3rd Street, Edison.
This annual family event is also one of Edison’s most popular. Starting the evening’s festivities at 6:15 p.m., A “Dickens” quartet will warm up the crowd with seasonal favorites. The Herbert Hoover Middle School Chorus and the J.P. Stevens High School Brass Ensemble will entertain beginning at 7 p.m. along with a special performance by Star Essence Dance Studio. This will all lead up to the arrival of Santa and the lighting of the tree.
Free holiday refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
