UNION – Junior Jonathan Jones of Linden was named the Kean Athlete of the Week on Nov. 30, following a 2-1 week for the Cougars.
Jones averaged 15.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals in a 2-1 week for the Cougars. He opened the week with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting and added seven rebounds and three assists in Kean’s 66-53 win at John Jay.

At the Holiday Inn Airport Invitational at the University of Rochester, Jones had a team-high 14 points and four steals in a tough 61-59 loss to Scranton. He closed out the week with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds in Kean’s 73-70 win over Curry College.
Jones, who was named to the all-tournament team, scored 15 points in the second half of the game and added four steals and two assists.
