PERTH AMBOY-Last year I wrote about the 1978 Holy Spirit Grammar School Christmas play. Here is the information from the 1979 Christmas play, from material given to me for my column.

The Kindergarten class: Boys-“I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.” The girls-“I’m a Little Doll.” The teacher was Mrs. M Joyce.

1st grade presented “Up on a House Top” and the poem “Christmas Wish” with Sister Madonna.

2nd grade presented “Happy Reindeers” with Mrs. G. Orlowski.

3rd grade presented “Christmas by Candlelight” with Mrs. E. Kavejon.

4th grade presented “Christmas Around the World” with Mrs. S. Williamson.

5th grade presented “The Merry Christmas Polka” with Sister Immaculate.

6th grade presented “The Night Before Christmas” with Miss R. Austin.

7th grade presented “Twelve Days of Christmas” with Mrs. G. Volesko.

8th grade presents “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” with Mrs. N. Raychel.

The accompaniment was by Mrs. Eleanor Kavejon. Father Joseph V. Kerr was Pastor of Holy Spirit at this time.
