Elizabeth Residents Named To Christie Team

ELIZABETH—Gov.-elect Christopher Christie announced the appointment of three transition team members from Elizabeth, Board of Education member and former President Rafael Fajardo, Schools Superintendent Pablo Munoz and former Councilman Tony Monteiro.

Christie, who will take office Jan. 19, formed 20 committees to offer him advice about potential appointees and critical issues his administration may face.

Fajardo is advising Christie on Labor and Workforce Development, Monteiro is on the environmental transition team and Munoz is on the education panel.
