Burglars Take DVDs, Computer, Car From Linden Homes
LINDEN – Police are investigating burglaries to two Linden homes.
At 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, officers took a report of a burglary at a home on the 10 block of East Linden Avenue. The resident, a 40-year-old man, told police that someone entered his home through a rear sliding door while he was sleeping.
He reported that his laptop computer, cell phone, wallet, backpack and car keys were taken from inside his home, police Lt. James Sarnicki said. The resident’s car, a red 1997 Subaru SVX, was also reported stolen from outside his home.

At 7:44 a.m., Officers took a report of another burglary on the 200 block of Pennsylvania Railroad Avenue. A 68-year-old woman told police that someone entered her home through an unlocked rear door sometime during the night.
According to Sarnicki, she reported that her pocketbook, containing cash, a checkbook and her cellphone, was missing. She also reported that a CD radio, 50 DVDs and a canvas bag were missing.
