Cub Scouts Collect Toys For Tots

CLARK—Clark Cub Scout Pack 145 collected bundles of toys during Clark’s Holiday Winter Festival last Sunday in support of the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program.

Since 1947, the U.S. Marine Corps has been making Christmas wishes come true for needy children. The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help needy children throughout the United States experience the joy of the holidays and to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable natural resources – children. This year, more than ever, they need your help.

The scouts are asking Clark residents to consider helping to provide a brighter holiday for disadvantaged youth. All you have to do is bring a new, unwrapped toy to your local drop off location. Cub Scout drop off locations in Clark are at the Clark Library, Town Hall and Investors Savings Bank. They will be collecting toys through Dec. 14.
