Madison Students Celebrate Thanksgiving With Play, Dinner
RAHWAY—Madison Elementary School in Rahway held their annual Thanksgiving play and dinner on Friday, Nov. 20.
Students from Mrs. Klein’s class held three performances of “The First Thanksgiving.” First graders from Mrs. Urbano’s class and Ms. Lund’s class were the native Americans in the play. Fifth grader Tiffany Thebodeau played the piano during the singing of “Over the River and Through the Woods.”
After the last performance, Mrs. Klein’s class invited the fourth grade classes to join them in the auditorium. There they enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner that was prepared by parents. Rahway’s ROTC served the guests.
