LINDEN—First grade students from Linden School No.2 celebrated the “First Thanksgiving.” The students learned the meaning of teamwork as they made pumpkin bread together, just like the native Americans worked together with the pilgrims.

The culminating lesson was a feast of thanks. The students learned how to set a table, make placemats, and all wrote about what they are thankful for and their writings were displayed for all families to enjoy.
