Health Department Offers H1N1 Clinics
SAYREVILLE – The Middlesex County Public Health Department will be conducting H1N1 clinics for the “high risk” target groups by appointment only on Nov. 24 and Dec. 1.
The clinics will be held at Middlesex County Fire Academy, 1001 Fire Academy Drive, Sayreville, and the Public Health Clinic, 596 Jersey Avenue, New Brunswick.
The “high risk” target groups are:
• people 6 months to 24 years of age
• pregnant women
• healthcare and emergency services personnel
• caregivers for children younger than 6 months
• 25 to 64 year olds with high risk medical conditions
Vaccine will be distributed by appointment only. Call 1-732-565-3788 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to schedule an appointment. Due to the high volume of calls, officials ask residents to continue calling if they receive a busy signal.
