CLARK—The St. Agnes School Pre-K 4 classes recently visited Battleview Orchards in Freehold for a day of apple and pumpkin picking. The class trip was an extension of curriculum activities focusing on the characteristics of apples and pumpkins and how they grow. Apples picked at the orchard were then used in a cooking activity back at school where the children made a delicious apple crisp for snack. Pictured are Sharon DeAngelis and Carol Bottita along with their class.
