RAHWAY—From Oct. 19 – 23, students, faculty, and staff at Rahway High School commemorated National Red Ribbon Week by painting the town—rather, the halls—red. Members of the Rahway High School community signed pledges to avoid alcohol, drugs, and tobacco and painted the first floor hallway with red handprints.
The purpose of the Red Ribbon Campaign, started by SADD in 1988, is to present a visible commitment to a safe, healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
