Nov. 9 at 3:15 p.m. – In the vicinity of Lexington Boulevard, Officer John Ehling arrested Tom’s River resident Ronald Stevenson, 59, on outstanding warrants from Manalapan and Wall Township for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently turned over to the Manalapan Police Department.
Nov. 9 at 11:39 p.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road and Lake Avenue, Officer Chris Lott arrested Avenel resident James Hastings, 21, for possession of CDS, manufacture/distribution of CDS and obstruction of justice. He was also issued three summonses for motor vehicle violations, and he was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.
Nov. 10 at 9:29 a.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Keith Meehan arrested Roselle resident Rasheed Early, 21, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently released after posting bail.
Nov. 10 at 9:48 a.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of criminal mischief to a Sweet Briar Drive residence.
Nov. 10 at 11:48 a.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Brian Renda arrested Old Bridge resident Edwin Ortiz, 22, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently released after posting bail.
Nov. 15 at 11:58 a.m. – In the vicinity of 45 Central Avenue, Officer Pat Grady arrested Edison resident Daymon Raiford, 38, on an outstanding warrant from Somerville for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently turned over to the Somerville Police Department.
Nov. 15 at 11:58 a.m. – In the vicinity of 1060 Raritan Road, Officer Ken Sarnecki arrested Edison resident Tara Battieste, 27, for shoplifting $291 worth of merchandise from the A&P Supermarket. She was also charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia and released on her own recognizance pending a court date.
