Nov. 3 at 5:09 p.m. – Officer Terrance Harrison investigated a report of a stolen purse from a patron of the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue.

Nov. 3 at 5:57 p.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Terrance Harrison arrested Jackson resident Clarence Holdren, 28, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Nov. 5 at 7:25 a.m. – In the vicinity of Madison Avenue in Rahway, Det. Sgt. Michael Pollock arrested Elizabeth resident Pink Montgomery, 40, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations.  She was subsequently released after posting bail.

Nov. 6 at 11:11 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Madison Hill Road, Officer Pat Grady arrested Newark resident Tomeka Gumbs, 32, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. She was subsequently released after posting bail.

Nov. 8 at 3:11 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle fire at 45 Central AvenueThe Clark Fire Department responded and extinguished it.

Nov. 9 at 10:29 a.m. – At the Essex County Jail, Officer Brian Renda arrested Newark resident James D. Brown, 46, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.
