Oct. 28 at 8:57 p.m. – Officer Daniel Joy investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence on the 600 block of Raritan Road.

Oct. 29 at 10:18 a.m. – Officer Brian Renda investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Bartell Place residence.

Oct. 29 at 7:32 p.m. – Officer Terrance Harrison investigated a theft of gasoline at 226 Westfield Avenue.

Oct. 30 at 12:17 p.m. – Officer Pat Grady investigated a report of a stolen wallet from a patron of the Target Department Store at 45 Central Avenue.

Oct. 30 at 2:52 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officer Pat Grady arrested Edison resident Rosy Bhatia, 46, for shoplifting $51.68 worth of merchandise from the Shop-Rite Supermarket. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

Oct. 31 at 1:17 a.m. – Officer Brian Renda investigated a report of criminal mischief to a Lake Avenue residence

Oct. 31 at 3:20 p.m. – Officer Keith Meehan investigated a report of criminal mischief to a Roberts Road residence.

Nov. 1 at 1:24 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Madison Hill Road, Officer George Marmarou arrested Fords resident Robert Southwell, 37, for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Nov. 2 at 9:05 a.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Morristown resident Bruce Allen, 56, for DUI.  He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Nov. 2 at 9:50 a.m. – At the Mid State Correctional Facility in Fort Dix, New Jersey, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Jean Coelho, 38, address unknown, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.  He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.
