Cranford Native To Present Two Short Films

CRANFORD—Filmmaker Chris Keenan, a Cranford native, will present two of his short films at the Cranford Community Center on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m.

The first film, “The Dead,” is based on the famous short story by James Joyce.  The second, “Here I Go Again,” is the story of Joe, a young man on the verge of the rest of his life, who begins to question his current relationship when he runs into an ex-girlfriend at a party.

Keenan recently received his degree in Fine Arts with a major in cinematography from the School of Visual Arts.  For the past four years he has worked in the New York City film industry on web videos, television and independent films.

He has had two short student films featured in the Garden State Film Festival. “Here I Go Again” was shown in New York and is scheduled to be screened at a number of film festivals. Keenan will be on hand to introduce and discuss his films.

Admission is free and all are welcome. The Cranford Community Center is located at 220 Walnut Avenue.
