High School Students Prepare For Fundraiser
RAHWAY—Pictured, students enrolled in the Newspaper/Yearbook elective class at Rahway High School prepare donated goods for the garage sale fundraiser held in October. The Journalism program, which is part of the English department, offers Newspaper, Yearbook and Creative Writing courses at RHS. Teachers Elizabeth Graner Jotz, Kimberly Sharrock-Shaw and Kimberly Kiefer work to encourage students to express themselves creatively through writing for the student newspaper, the yearbook, and the student literary magazine.
Also pictured, Rho Eta Sigma editor in chief and Rahway High School senior Elizabeth Cron prepares items for sale during the Yearbook garage sale fundraiser held in October. Cron, a second-year student in the Journalism program, hopes to go on to major in journalism in college.
