CRANFORD–The Cranford Public Library will host a program, “Green Currency: Practical Ways to Measure & Improve Our Impact on the Global Climate,” on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue.
Learn how to measure and track your impact on the atmosphere the way you track money or calories. The program will explain the term “carbon footprint” and present practical ways to lessen our negative environmental impact.
The program will be presented by Mary Reilly, who is both a Cranford Green Team Leader and a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Associate. Reilly has a background in group dynamics, project management and training. She has an MBA in organizational development from KU Leuven, Belgium and will complete an MBA in sustainability at Fairleigh Dickinson University early in 2010.
Admission to the program is free and all are welcome. For questions about the program, call the library at 1-908-709-7272 and ask for John Malar, or email the library at firstname.lastname@example.org.
