SCOTCH PLAINS – The Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care will offer a “Grief and the Holidays” lecture presented by Patty McLaughlin, M.A., M.F.T., and Tracey Sandman, M.A.P.C.
Both women are the Bereavement Counselors at the Center For Hope. This public lecture will take place on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. It will be held at Center For Hope Hospice Peter M. Shields Administration Building, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains.
The holidays are a time for special family gatherings, sharing meals and giving thanks. This time can be stressful, especially for those who have suffered a loss. The center can offer information and support for the approaching holidays on how to cope. This program is free of charge. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the presentation.
