BERKELEY HEIGHTS—They may be Union County employees by day, but with a little bit of Halloween spirit last weekend they became the late wives of David Felt who lived in the Deserted Village in Union County’s Watchung Reservation.
More than 800 people turned out for the county’s popular Haunted Hayrides through the village, where they got to see creepy clowns, wicked witches, a psycho woodsman, along with a haunted cemetery. The event has become so popular that it usually sells out in advance and has received the Excellence in Special Event Programming from the New Jersey Recreation & Park Association.
