Oct. 19 at 9:46 p.m. – At 4 Cornell Drive, Officer Daniel Joy arrested Bronx, N.Y. resident Justin Hawkins, 30, on an outstanding warrant from Newark for contempt of court.  He was subsequently turned over to the Newark Police Department.

Oct. 19 at 11:26 p.m. – Sgt. P. Matos investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was traveling in the vicinity of Madison Hill Road and Elisa Lane.

Oct. 20 at 4:23 p.m. – In the vicinity of 951 Raritan Road, Officer Antonio Manata arrested Clark resident Michelle Sarasti, 38, on an outstanding warrant from Plainfield for contempt of court/motor vehicle violations.  She was subsequently released after posting bail.

Oct. 21 at 12:27 a.m. – Officer Marty Venezio investigated a report of criminal mischief to a Washington Street residence. On arrival, it was determined that the alarm had been set off in error.

Oct. 21 at 4:40 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Bartell Place. The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad transported two patients to University Hospital, and the Rahway First Aid Squad transported one patient to the JFK Medical Center.

Oct. 22 at 9:26 a.m. – Officer Glenn Griffin investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 46 Coldevin Road.

Oct. 22 at 11:51 p.m. – In the vicinity of 45 Central Avenue, Officer Daniel Joy arrested Rahway resident Sergio Acosta-Muro, 34, for DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Oct. 23 at 3:32 p.m. – At the Union Police Department, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Newark resident Shakeya Denson, 33, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. She was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Oct. 23 at 9:57 p.m. – In the vicinity of Central Avenue and Raritan Road, Officer George Marmarou arrested Franklin resident Wilfredo Figueroa, 24, on an outstanding warrant from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court.

Oct. 25 at 2:22 a.m. – In the vicinity of 1207 Raritan Road, Officer Pat Grady arrested Colonia resident Nicholas Sorice, 25, on an outstanding warrant from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department.

Oct. 25 at 11:19 a.m. – Officer Keith Meehan investigated a report of criminal mischief to a Maebelle Drive residence.
