RAHWAY — Bill Pear’s and Natalie Polanin’s fifth grade students at Roosevelt School in Rahway had the opportunity to use the free program Skype to communicate with students from an elementary school in North Carolina.
Both groups of students did not know where the other group was located. Each class answered several questions such as, what are some famous people from your state, what type of animals live in your state, what is one state that borders your state and several other questions to help give hints to discover their location.
After all ten questions were answered students had the chance to a guess as to where their mystery pals were from.
